IP and IDN printers on Micros 3700 System

I am working at a location that has Micros 3700 system, currently using epson ( with Micros label) printers TM-U220B.  We would like to add an Epson IP printerto the mix but unsure if this can be done, or if it can be done the best steps to follow.  Looking for input from people that have had this mix.

Thanks in advance
